WHAT IS DANISH-ASIAN SME NETWORK?

DANISH-ASIAN SME NETWORK

THE NETWORK IS BUILDING BRIDGES BETWEEN DENMARK and SOUTHEAST ASIAS LARGEST GROWTH MARKETS

How?

The Danish companies’ access to and success in Southeast Asian markets will be realized by building and connecting a network of Danish businesspeople and companies in Asia, who can assist export-ready Danish SMEs who are seeking to explore business opportunities in the region. The project will launch a number of knowledge-sharing and business-promoting activities, which will improve the companies’ insight and mobilize the network in the best possible way in relation to the goals of Danish SMEs.

WHERE?

The project will identify, map and collaborate with the Danish chambers of commerce, embassies, and official representations across Asia, as well as Danish business people and companies based in the region, who are willing to help Danish business access markets in Southeast Asia.

The focus countries for the project are Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines and Indonesia.

Who?

In collaboration with the official Danish representations in Asia, the partners behind the project will test out a new model for business delegations, which is largely based on the companies’ specific needs, the Danish diaspora’s- and project partners’ experiences.

The target group for the network is export-ready small and medium-sized companies based in Denmark, as well as Danish business people and companies in or with experience from Asia.

The project has been developed by Asia House in collaboration with The Danish Industry Foundation, Danish Export Association, and Andersen Consult.
